PRIVACY POLICY

Boulard Distribution Inc., which operates the Invasion website, respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information when you use our website, create an account, place an order, subscribe to our communications or contact us.

Information we collect

Depending on your interactions with us, we may collect your name, contact details, billing and shipping addresses, account information, order history, communication preferences and the content of your service requests. Technical information, including your IP address, browser, device and cookies, may also be collected depending on the features used and your consent choices.

Payments are processed through the services offered at checkout. Payment providers may process your card information; we do not necessarily retain your complete card details.

Use and disclosure

We use the information needed to process and deliver orders, manage accounts, respond to requests, provide after-sales service, protect our systems, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations. We may also use it to improve our website and send marketing communications when we have the required consent or legal basis.

Necessary information may be disclosed to providers that assist us, including with payments, delivery, hosting, email and, where these services are used, analytics or marketing. Such disclosures remain subject to applicable legal requirements.

Some providers may process information outside Quebec or Canada. Where such a transfer is contemplated, the assessments and safeguards required by law must be put in place.

Protection and retention

We apply reasonable safeguards and limit access to people who need the information for their duties. Information is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to meet applicable legal obligations, then destroyed or anonymized in accordance with the law.

Your rights and requests

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of your information, withdraw consent, or submit a complaint about its protection. Withdrawing consent may limit certain services where they require that information.

Send your request to the person responsible for the protection of personal information at Boulard Distribution Inc., at [email protected], or in writing to 265 Rue du Collège, Saint-Jean-de-Matha, QC J0K 2S0, Canada. We may verify your identity before responding.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms govern use of the Invasion website and purchases of products offered by Boulard Distribution Inc. The information and terms presented when you place an order supplement these policies. Nothing on this page restricts a right that you cannot legally waive.

Website use and accounts

You must use the website for lawful purposes, provide accurate information and keep your account credentials confidential. Any attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems or data is prohibited. Contact us if you notice unauthorized use of your account.

Products, colours and availability

We make reasonable efforts to accurately present product features, prices and availability. The appearance of colours, iridescent reflections and finishes may vary with lighting, screens and production batches, without changing our obligations regarding conformity. Availability may change.

Prices, payment and orders

The currency, taxes, shipping charges and any other applicable fees are shown before you complete your purchase. You must use a payment method offered at checkout and provide accurate billing information.

Where permitted by law, an order may be refused or cancelled, including in cases of unauthorized payment, suspected fraud, an obvious error or inability to fulfil the order. We will provide the relevant information and refund any applicable amounts already collected for items that cannot be supplied.

Intellectual property and third-party services

The website’s text, photographs, logos, videos, graphics and descriptions belong to Boulard Distribution Inc. or are used with permission. Their commercial use or reproduction requires prior authorization, except as permitted by law.

The website may link to third-party services or websites. Their own practices and terms may apply; Boulard Distribution Inc.’s legal obligations remain unchanged.

Product use

Harnesses, blades and other fishing products must be used appropriately and in accordance with applicable regulations. Handle hooks carefully and keep sharp or small items out of the reach of young children.

Governing law and updates

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Quebec and Canada, subject to mandatory protections available to the customer. Changes to this page do not remove rights relating to a purchase already made or applicable legal warranties.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Shipping and delivery

Applicable delivery options, charges and information are provided at checkout. Estimates may vary depending on the destination, carrier, weather, customs or other circumstances. These estimates do not reduce cancellation or refund rights provided by law.

If an order is delayed, lost, incomplete or damaged, email us at [email protected] with your order number, a description of the issue and, where relevant, photos of the product and packaging.

Voluntary returns: 30 days

Return requests for a change of mind must be submitted within 30 days of delivery. Products must be unused, in their original condition, complete, accompanied by proof of purchase and their original packaging, where applicable.

Products used, modified or damaged after delivery may not qualify for a voluntary return. Items clearly identified as final sale may also be excluded from voluntary returns. These conditions do not limit remedies relating to a defect, non-conformity or legal warranty.

Return procedure and charges

Contact our team before shipping a return to obtain the appropriate instructions. For a voluntary return, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs, and original shipping charges may be non-refundable where permitted by law.

In the event of an error on our part, a defective product or any other situation protected by law, we will explain the applicable procedure without restricting your rights.

Refunds

Once an approved return has been received and inspected, the applicable refund is issued to the original payment method where possible. The time it takes for the refund to appear then depends on the payment provider or financial institution.

Incorrect or defective products

Report the issue to us as soon as possible with proof of purchase and relevant information. The 30-day voluntary return period does not limit legal warranties.

WARRANTY AND SERVICE

This section covers Invasion fishing harnesses, Colorado and Willow Leaf blades, Turbine products and their components. We review requests relating to manufacturing defects or non-conformity and offer a solution appropriate to the product and applicable obligations.

Submitting a request

Email [email protected] with your proof of purchase or order number, model and colour number, a description of the issue and clear photos of the product and affected component. Details about the circumstances of use may be needed to understand the issue.

Do not ship a product to us before receiving instructions from our team. If a return is required, securely package hooks and other sharp parts.

Manufacturing defects and non-conformity

We assess each request according to the nature of the defect, the circumstances and applicable warranties. Depending on the case, the solution may include repair, replacement, a refund or another measure provided by law. No additional commercial warranty period is promised on this page; any specific warranty offered with a product remains applicable according to its terms.

Wear and damage during use

Normal wear, hook or tooth marks, abrasion against rocks, snags, loss of a lure, improper storage or maintenance, and modifications may not result from a manufacturing defect. Their presence does not automatically lead to a request being denied: we examine their connection to the reported issue and the applicable rights.

To help preserve your products, inspect lines, knots, hooks, fasteners and other components before use, then dry items before storing them. Replace components showing wear that could compromise their use.

Components and service

Depending on the product, component availability and the nature of the issue, our team may recommend a replacement or service solution. We confirm the available options and any charges before performing paid work, subject to our legal obligations.

Your legal warranties remain applicable

Warranties provided by law apply independently of a commercial warranty. In Quebec, goods must, among other things, be suitable for their normal use and remain usable for a reasonable length of time, taking into account their price, the contract and conditions of use. Provisions on voluntary returns or wear do not remove these protections.

COOKIES AND MARKETING

Cookies and similar technologies

The website may use cookies for essential functions, including sessions, accounts, shopping carts and language preferences. Depending on the features enabled, other technologies may be used for analytics, personalization or marketing.

Where the law requires your consent, non-essential technologies are subject to that choice. If a cookie management tool is offered on the website, you can change your preferences there. You can also manage or delete cookies in your browser; some website functions may then be affected.

Marketing communications

We may send Invasion news, product announcements or promotions when we have the appropriate consent or another lawful basis. Each commercial electronic message must identify us and offer an unsubscribe mechanism.

You can unsubscribe using the link in our emails or by writing to [email protected]. Unsubscribe requests are processed free of charge, no later than ten business days where required by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation.

You may continue to receive order confirmations, shipping notices and messages necessary to service a transaction or protect your account.
